Insurer health checks¶
One call tells you which insurers' web services answer right now, using your own client's credentials.
Prerequisites
A valid bearer token, as for every other call. If you don't have one, start with Getting started.
Check every insurer you can use¶
curl -s "https://api.insurancegateway.gr/multiprovider/health-checks/web-service-providers" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $TOKEN"
You get one row for each insurer your client is allowed to use:
[
{ "providerName": "Allianz", "provider": 0, "isHealthy": true, "errorMessage": null },
{ "providerName": "Ergo", "provider": 10, "isHealthy": false, "errorMessage": "No response within 10 s" }
]
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
providerName |
Insurer name |
provider |
Insurer number (the same numbers as the names list below) |
isHealthy |
true only when the insurer answered in time and without an error |
errorMessage |
Why the check failed; null when healthy |
Check only some insurers¶
Add check with insurer names separated by commas. Rows come back in the order you wrote them.
curl -s "https://api.insurancegateway.gr/multiprovider/health-checks/web-service-providers?check=Allianz,Euroins,Ydrogeios" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $TOKEN"
Write the names exactly like this:
Allianz, SoEasy, Interlife, EuroSos, Interamerican, Mondial, Intersalonica,
Groupama, Extra, Apeiron, Ergo, Ethniki, Eurolife, Generali, Minetta,
Atlanet, Euroins, Europe, Interfast, Orizon, PersonalIns, Totalware, Ydrogeios
An unknown or misspelled name, a name written twice, or an empty name (Allianz,,Euroins)
returns 400 with every mistake listed under errors.check. No insurer is called.
How it works¶
- Each insurer gets one quick read call (a ping or its fastest lookup). Nothing is written.
- All insurers are checked at the same time, and each has up to 10 seconds. So the answer takes at most about 10 seconds.
- The check signs in with your client's credentials for that insurer. A failure can mean the insurer is down, or that your account for it is wrong.
- Without
check, you get only the insurers your client may call. Withcheck, an insurer you may not call is not contacted and returns"Not allowed for this client".
Reading errorMessage¶
| Message | Meaning |
|---|---|
No response within 10 s |
The insurer did not answer in time |
sign-in: ... |
Signing in to the insurer failed: usually a wrong username or password |
call: ... |
Sign-in worked, but the call itself failed |
server: ... |
The insurer's server could not be reached |
Empty response |
The insurer answered, but with nothing in it |
No credentials for this client |
We hold no account of yours for this insurer |
Not configured: <setting> |
A setting your account needs is missing; contact Support |
Provider disabled |
This insurer is switched off on our side |
Not allowed for this client |
Your client has no access to this insurer |
Messages are cut to 200 characters and never contain passwords or other values.
Wrong account?
If an insurer fails at sign-in, you can correct your account yourself with Credentials upload, if it is enabled for your client.
